Short for urgent, URGI-Care is an innovative facility that is available seven days a week in order to provide care for minor illnesses and injuries. With walk-ins welcome, there is no need to schedule an appointment, adding to the convenience and personal attention IRMC is looking to provide to the Blairsville community. The center addresses all urgent needs in a timely manner with the simplified service our patients deserve.

URGI-Care deals with events such as…

• Seasonal allergies.
• Sinus infections.
• Cough colds and the flu.
• Sore throat.
• Earache.
• Minor lacerations.
• Minor back pain.
• Mild skin infections.
• Minor abdominal pain.
• Physical examinations.

Some problems cannot be treated by URGI-Care. Go to an emergency room in the event of:

• Life-threatening circumstances.
• Chest pain.
• Difficulty breathing.
• Obvious fractures.
• Severe bleeding.
• Pregnancy complications.
• Stroke.
• Change in mental state.
• Severe pain/lacerations.

Hours

URGI-Care is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
